Momentum is a remarkable thing. The most significant changes in the world are driven by momentum, both positive and negative.

As we approach the waning months of 2007, we've seen amazing developments in both healthcare and education. There are new, positive, innovative models out there that are really working, and if we can help more people understand that, the more momentum we'll achieve. But for momentum to really occur, our voices are not enough. We need your voice too.

All around the world, our readers are seeing how the power of the Internet is reshaping communities and even countries. We want to hear about it. And we want to make sure others hear about it. Whether it's a story about a boy and a windmill (more on that to come!) or the steadfast determination of a developing country to revolutionize it's healthcare system, these stories need to be told, not just to inspire, but to drive momentum.

So, we'll be introducing a number of innovative ways for you to contribute to 50x15 in the coming months, with your stories, your commentary, and your suggestions on how we can empower people through mass and velocity. It's already been a remarkable year, and yet, the best is yet to come!
