Instead of relying on a single large antenna to cover every user, each radio in a Meraki network cooperates to find the best path to carry a user's traffic to the Internet. As they operate, every network re-evaluates thousands of routing paths every minute, resulting in amazing reliability and network capacity. Meraki's intelligent mesh routing means every repeater you add extends the reach of the network and makes the mesh more reliable by adding additional links.
Field-tested by real-world customers who successfully cover dense apartment communities throughout entire cities, Meraki's networking platform provides high quality of service to thousands of simultaneous users without missing a beat. Intelligent traffic queuing and packet prioritization, combined with the ability to add a virtually unlimited number of additional network gateways, means a network's capacity can continue to grow with demand.
Every Meraki system works out of the box, without requiring sophisticated site-surveys or command-line setup. Their hosted back-end system automatically configures every router as part of a network, and the web-based centralized management shows how everything is working through a simple, intuitive interface that can be securely used from anywhere in the world.
Once a network is plugged in, Meraki's automated systems ensure everything is kept up to date, from statistics to router software updates. As new features and security updates are developed, they automatically appear on the network – no reboots or notifications required.

Meraki Indoor

The Meraki Indoor is a wireless mesh access point, gateway, and repeater. Small, sleek, and packed with new features, the Indoor is the central building block for any Meraki network.

Ideal for commercial, residential, or city-wide deployments, the Indoor is small, sleek, and low-profile. And, with an integrated antenna, the Indoor is compact and works seamlessly with the Meraki Outdoor.
The Indoor is plug-and-play, as a gateway, access point and/or a repeater and works with all other Meraki devices. LED signal-strength indicators help you pinpoint the best install location to maximize your signal's reach.
The Indoor features 802.11b/g wireless technology, making it quick and completely compatible with your existing WiFi-enabled devices.
The watchdog protects the hardware from unpredictable events like power outages, making your network more reliable.

Meraki Outdoor

The Meraki Outdoor is a robust, weatherproof, UV-resistant wireless mesh repeater designed for large-scale, high-capacity networks. With an intuitive, patent-pending design, the Outdoor helps ensure your installation and setup goes smoothly.

An Outdoor installation helps avoid problems created when a WiFi signal is blocked by a building’s structure. Combine this with the Outdoor’s higher-power radio to have the ability to build longer radio links and a larger, higher-capacity network.
Visual signal strength indicators will indicate if a strong wireless connection exists to the broadband access point, which means the Outdoor can always be placed in an ideal location.
Like all Meraki repeaters, the Outdoor comes equipped with industry-standard encryption technologies, including WPA/WPA2 encryption. The built-in firewall helps protect data and local networks from snoops and malicious hackers.

Meraki High-Gain Omni-Directional Antenna

The Meraki High-Gain Omni-Directional Antenna can help extend the range of a Meraki repeater by refocusing the vertical signal to strengthen the horizontal signal.

In a typical scenario you can get up to a 2x range increase in the direction perpendicular to the antenna. The signal will be weaker directly above and below the antenna. The antenna’s gain is 7 dBi.
The antenna comes with everything needed to attach to a Meraki device, and is suitable for indoor or outdoor use. No special adapters are needed.
The Meraki Dashboard can keep track of which antennas have been attached to which repeaters, making it easier to manage larger networks.

Meraki Panel Antenna

The Meraki Panel Antenna can help extend the range of a Meraki repeater by focusing the wireless signal in a specific direction.

In a typical scenario, up to a 2.5x range increase in the direction of the antenna, which is a 60° cone, is possible. The antenna’s gain is 7.5 dBi.
The antenna comes with everything needed for a pole or wall mount, and is suitable for indoor or outdoor use. A 3’ (1m) cable helps place the antenna in the best position.
Meraki Dashboard can keep track of which antennas have been placed on which repeaters, making it easier to manage larger networks.
